Plot

After the Battle of the Breach, the Precursors portal was closed. Jake Pentecost is an ex Jaeger pilot and son of Stacker Pentecost. He is now living by stealing and selling Jaeger parts on the black market. He meets Amara Namani while searching for disabled Jaeger’s power core. Amara is the fifteen-year-old Jaeger enthusiast girl having sheltered workshop. Both of them are chased by Pan-Pacific Defense Corps (PPDC). Mako Mori is Jake’s adoptive sister and Japanese Senator. She tells Jake to join PPDC and Amara as his partner. What will happen next? What will Jake do? Will his decision to join PPDC  change his life in a better way? The rest of the story deals with it.

Star Performance

John Boyega, as Jake Pentecost, did an incredible performance in the film. His journey to joining Pan-Pacific Defense Corps was brilliant. His detailing of the character was outstanding. He is perfect as a lead actor. He performed well in this film. One would love him after watching this movie. That much impact he made in the whole film. Scott Eastwood, as Nathan “Nate” Lambert, did a fantastic performance in the film. He shows the nature of a perfect friend to John. His acting was factual and natural. Cailee Spaeny, as Amara Namani, was excellent  in her character. Her appearance as Jake’s partner was good in the film. Jing Tian as Liwen Shao and Rinko Kikuchi, as Mako Mori, did a remarkable performances in the movie. All the other actors were as good as the main lead actors.

Analysis

The storyline of the film was great, thrilling, interesting, and entertaining —the film focus on the central theme of science fiction film. The film is the sequel to Pacific Rim. The exciting nature of the film is maintained from the start till the end. The exciting journey of Jake and his partners is demonstrated in the movie. The theme and message are good and interesting. The storyline were interesting, but the script was poorly framed.  The direction was poorly done. The background music and songs play a significant role in the movie. The dialogues were excellent. The action scenes was good in the film.
