Anna Sophia Robb, known for her role in ‘Bridge to Terabithia’s,' does Hamilton in the movie. The entire movie is a narration by Hamilton, and she explains how she beats the odds after calamity lands on her. The explanation comes out as narration. The narration is seen on a homemade video. Hamilton tells how one can laze around in the sands of Hawaiian beach. Nobody has any work to do. The life of Hawaiian beach is packed with fun with people listening to music, bathing in the sun, indulging in water sports, and once in a while religious meetings.

The debutante is a very snobbish character in this movie. Carrie Underwood reprimands Hamilton for dismissing a holy trip and for choosing water sports competition. In the competition, Hamilton is bitten by a shark. Hamilton is now crippled, but she has a list of priorities which she keeps in mind. Hamilton wants to get back into the sport.

There are lots of positive features in the movie that override the drawbacks. The movie is very compelling to watch. Video recording of the water surf has been captured in the camera wonderfully. Also, the video clippings have been cleanly edited. There are action scenes in the movie. The scenes include a combat to save Hamilton’s life following an attack by a shark. The movie does not alone throw light on her morale, but also shows a supportive family which helps her beat the odds. The movie leaves a strong impact on the audiences. Anna Sophia Robb has done the role well. Dennis and Helen do her parents, and Bethany does her best friend Alana in the movie. The water sport has been shot in a way that captures the attention of audiences. The plot of the movie boosts up the morale in every one of the audiences.

There are a few drawbacks to the movie, and viewers are easily able to guess the story. Sentiments seem to be in excess in the movie. The scenes about Bethany’s approach to the Bible do not work out on screen. There is plenty of narration by Bethany. The conclusion drawn is that a documentary could have been made instead.

Verdict: Although it is highly inspiring one, the movie might not meet the expectations among the general audiences.
