Richard Parker, the OsCorp Scientist, leaves a message in a video to explain why he is absconding. He then boards a jet with his wife, Mary. The jet is hijacked, and the plane crashes and kills both Richard and Mary, but before that Richard does a job. He uploads the recorded message.Â
Harry Osborn has a father Norman, the CEO of OsCorp, who is in fact terminally ill. Norman leaves a message for Harry and dies.Â
Peter as Spider-Man is seen combating crime in the city. At one point of time Harry starts hating Spider-Man, without knowing that it is Peter.Â
The movie has a romance between Spider-Man and Gwen. Peter as Spider-Man wants to be with her as she is about to leave the country. But the work is compelling him to be as Spider-Man.Â
In spite of Harry’s hatred for Peter, Peter as Spider-Man saves his life but loses his lover Gwen. A bereaved Peter puts a full-stop to his career as Spider-Man, which turns out to be the climax.Â
Harry, who had inherited the disease from his father, recuperates. But, again, crime forces Peter to be back on streets as Spider-man, and another reason is the inspiration he draws out of Gwen’s speech during graduation.
