Plot

In Seattle, Enzo, a pet dog, is dying. He is waiting for his master and his best friend Denny to return home. When Denny finds Enzo unable to move, the dog begins to narrate his life to the viewer. Years prior, Denny caught his eye on a puppy and immediately bonded with him. Denny bought young Enzo home and started giving him time out of his busy schedule. He pursues a career as a race driver. A year later, Denny falls in love with a lady named Eve, and they get married. Eve becomes pregnant. When Eve is close to her due date, Denny gets invited to drive in the 24 Hours of Daytona. He misses the birth of her daughter named Zoe. After a few years, Eve is diagnosed with brain cancer. Denny still wasn’t available. While Eve’s dying, Enzo watches her passing away on the hospital bed. Maxwell blames Denny's absence for Eve's illness and threatens to sue him. Denny faces a 3-month jail sentence, plus his in-laws taking permanent custody of his daughter. Happening all the bad things at the same time, how is Denny going to cope with it? What about his racing career after he gets released? What happened to Enzo at the end?
