Analysis

The Art Of the Steal is an incredibly well done heist movie. It has the usual makings of a heist flick, and the storyline is fun and engaging in addition to a balanced screenplay. The highlight of the movie is the character dynamics. The film puts particular emphasis on the characters rather than the plot, and it’s a refreshing change from the usual works of the genre. It has hilarious gags and funny bits throughout the film, and at its very core, it’s a light-hearted film that doesn’t tend to take itself seriously at all. Perhaps this is where it excels at being different from other heist movies, and makes for an incredibly engaging watch that will definitely find its way onto your rewatch list.

What’s There?

  • Interesting plotline
  • Incredible character dynamics
  • Hilarious and sassy

What’s Not There?

  • It’s light and wacky, unlike the usual run-of-the-mill heist movie

Verdict

The Art of The Steal is a lighthearted heist movie that will keep u interested and chuckling throughout: think an Adam Sandler Humour is the thing that emphasizes the character >> Read More... movie meets Ocean’s Eleven.
