Plot: The movie’s plot revolves around two outstanding commandoes Jeffrey Den Morgan and Chris Evans. The two commandos, with few other mercenaries, are sent on a mission into the jungles of Bolivia. The commandos are trapped amidst treachery and betrayal. CIA Agents put their soldiers into difficulty, and the two soldiers are ditched in the jungle as prey to the carnivores. In fact, the soldiers escape close shave with death and team up with Aisha (Zoe Saldana) to track the enemies and settle scores with them. A team of five soldiers headed by Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Chris Evan are on a special operation to the Bolivian jungles. There is a black sheep in them who betrays all members in the team. The team members stand up against the odds and are quite determined to hit back at the black sheep Max. Going anywhere near Max is dangerous. He has a CIA agent to assist him and has the potential to throw the entire life out of gear. But, the betrayers also are running out of time. The special task force members taken for dead are in fact back with tremendous force.

The first scene opens up with the team members trying to close in on a narcotics kingpin. The members are about to bombard the kingpin’s refuge. But they hold back as they realize that many children are inside. The team members try to cancel an order to bombard the place. Suddenly, there is a crackle of their radios. An unrecognizable voice takes over, and the transmissions are turned off. The team members take the matter into their hands. They resolve to be together and save the kids inside the refuge of the kingpin. They get a helicopter for the kids to escape. But the mysterious voice owned by the black sheep Max shoots down the helicopter. While shooting down the helicopter, Max had not noticed that the three team members were not inside. So, he assumes them to be dead, but the movie scenes are such that the members come back with huge force. The team members know that the whole world would be endangered if the betrayer is let loose.

Every actor in the movie has done his role in the movie well. They exhibit their survival instincts such that it proves to be a spine-chilling experience. Jason Patric has done the black sheep, and he has done it in a unique manner. He least arouses the suspicion that he is, in fact, bad. He could have done a role in Bond movies. The climax is full of absurdities, but one could dismiss the setback for other wonderful features in the movie.

Verdict: The movie lacks weight but is an entertainer that proves to be a seat edge thriller.
