Plot

Dan Forester, who participated in the Iraq war, aimed at the right job at the research center but didn’t get it. Later, he gets a school teacher job. He settled in his life by marrying Emmy Forester, and they have a daughter, Muri. But Dan didn’t have any contact with his father, James. Something strange happens when the scientists and officials come to know about the alien attack in the future. So, they decide to send the soldiers to the future to control the aliens. What happens next? The rest of the film deals with it.

Star Performance

Chris Pratt is good in his action sequences and emotional scenes. Yvonne Strahovski, Ryan Kiera, JK Simmons, and Betty Gilpin provided enough support for the film’s flow.

Analysis

The story is not something new, but the making is different from that of similar sci-fi thrillers. The stars are chosen well. The screenplay and dialogues are impressive, and the BGM is fantastic. The action scenes are choreographed well, and the cinematography is the biggest plus. The VFX works are perfect. The production and technical values of the film are excellent.
