The flick Tim and Eric’s Billion Dollar Movie is a comedy that hit screens in 2012. The movie went on screens again in 2013 following demand from fans. Many of the cast and crew had worked under Adult Swim and William Street Productions.
But, this movie does not involve them in production. Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim do roles of aspiring moviemakers in the flick. Tim and Eric have misused a billion dollar given by Schlaaang Corp, a company with a tainted reputation. They know that they have to face dangerous consequences if they are not going to pay back the money.
Executive of the underground operation offers Tim and Eric the huge amount to make a mega movie. But, the money goes down the drains. Tim and Eric have to choose between life and death. If they do not return the value for the money, they will be dead. Tim and Eric try their hands on doing a creepy movie that resembles the Dawn of the Dead.
Their plot revolves around some dilapidated and haunted shops. The movie has romance in it with Eric getting into a relationship. Tim turns the foster father for a child. Also, they try to get an idea of movie making by watching

many a times. There is a shocking turn of events in which Tim and Eric’s friends are slain. Tim and Eric are sentenced to death for killing Corp members. But, as the next scene unfolds, viewers realize that it was just a part of the movie making process.

, who lauds the team’s effort. There is a very small line of demarcation between humor and tragedy. The movie attempts to be comedy, but if one looks out for a story, he or she cannot find it in the movie. Even the comedy is very odd. If you are accustomed to such oddities, the movie is tolerable.
