Macabre!! One of the most frightful movies ever made. Based on a real tragedy, it fails to manifest it righteously.

Plot

The fear grows through the movie. The tumultuous knocking alarms a couple in the middle of the night and on inspecting the man sees a shadow of the ‘visitor' screaming "little pig." The movie unfolds drastically when four friends come together to celebrate a birthday. A shock for them is a shadow cloaked visitor. The visitor resolves to barbaric ways of tormenting and torturing the group and eventually murdering them. Watch the movie to know the living monster!!

Analysis

The horror that it creates is incomparable. The director seems to have confused himself, and the movie turns out to be scandalous. There are no filters to the brutality shown; it thereby looks very offensive on screen. Re-telling of stories need to have some cushioning to them.

Star Performances

An appealing cast is a backbone of this movie. The enactment of the fear gives us Goosebumps. The cast has delivered some vivid performances, thus making the film eerie.

What’s there?

• The soundtrack is deafening; the creaking and screeching gives teeth grinding chills.

. Jump-scares are the key to the horror of the movie, sudden flashes of the visitor in the light, and reflection is freezing scary.

• The managed clocking saves a lot of unnecessary fillers.

What’s not there?

• The retelling of the actual story and revelation of the real characters eat up the excitement.

• The direction is very obscene and brutal.

Verdict

An invasive experience snatches the feeling of scrupulousness and nobility leaving one irritable. A high school pass time or if you feel indolent one may watch the movie.
