Plot: The film is a proxy-marriage story that is often seen in families of our country where the boy family deceives the girls’ families, in case the boy gets too aged and not good looking and even has a fault in his Kundli. Baankey Sharma(( Raajpal Yadav) is the character in the film who wants to get married. He is in mid-30s(35 year old) and cannot get married for his Kundli lapses. When he receives Anjali's ( Tia Bajpai) marriage proposal, he is all set to tie the nuptial knot. But the astrologer says marriage is not in his destiny. The astrologer says that Baankey can attain marriage bliss by getting married with help of a proxy, where a groom substitutes for him at the wedding mandap. Delighted to know about this, the family gets about finding a proxy groom to get Baankey married.Â
 This is a fairly entertaining movie which revolves around wedding where everything goes wrong.

is having some problem for which he is not getting married. That is why Rajpal's uncle( a money lender) and his friend (a village goon) hatch a plot to get a proxy groom for him. Later, the girl comes to know where she visits her in-laws house that the boy was changed.Â
 The screenplay is a confused narration and this is a negative aspect of the film. The plus point is sense of comedy timing of Baankey, Rajpal Yadav.
