The whole setup of the movie is in a village of Uttar Pradesh names Badlapur village. The story revolves around a handful untrained players of kabaddi players who are made to lose every game because of the fact that their actual player Vijay (Nishan) has always been kept aside as extras. Badlapur village is a drought prone area. Villagers living here are craving for some irrigation or dam like facilities but, unfortunately, can not get. Vijay, who is a goat herder in the village living with his mother. His father sacrificed his life for village's sake. The poor boy wants to fulfill his father's aspirations. Before he could even know her name, she goes back to her village promising for a next meeting. Setup of the film is captivating. The second half of the story is witless and joy-killing.

Plot:

Rampravesh Pasi Vijay's father is committed towards making a dam like a system in the village. He blackmails the officers of the village of killing himself if his demands are not met regarding his project but his pleadings and threatenings go in vein, and he had to sacrifice his life in front of the village. Vijay is a skillful player of kabaddi but somehow is not able to play because of his egoistic mates he could only sit as an extra. On the day of the championship, one of the main players gives no show hence opening Vijay's way for getting a place in the game. But because of some rules badlapur boys are considered as not eligible. Now how will they be able to compete in the tournament? How will Vijay be able to accomplish his father's aspirations?

What is in the movie:

1. Dialogues delivery from the actors is to the point and tactful

2. Kabaddi matches are way more interesting than the whole movie.

What is not in the movie:

1. The movie lacks some meaningful innovation.

2. There is the absence of good music making the film dull and full of the border.

3. The absence of Tactful story line and ShaileshVerma need to explore his direction skills more.

Star performances:

Nishan a Malayalam actor who has made his debut in Bollywood industry needs immediate dance coachings but watching him act is a revel. Saranya Mohan is natural and pleasing. Talented AnuKapoor is superb and fills the movie with his energetic performance.

Verdict:

Overall it's a simple and kind of motivational movie but lacks in variation and innovation hence making it dull. For kabaddi fans, it's surely disappointing because of lots of drama than the actual game.
