Banana is a movie about adolescent boys and their teenage years. It traces a teenager’s adventures. The story revolves only around teenagers and the only things that mattered at their age, i.e., love, loyalty, and friendship. All actors are newcomers and 17 years of age. The movie is shot in Jamshedpur where the director studied. He was an alumnus of Loyola School, which is also part of the film. The part of the movie that is shot at the school is when the school converted from an all-boys school to co-educational, revealing that the movie will be about the ups and downs of school life too.
