Manoj Bajpayee is playing the character of Biranchi Das, who is a judo coach as well as an orphanage owner, came to know about the injustice done with the boy through his mother, so he brings Budhia to his orphanage. When Biranchi came to know about the peculiar strength of Budhia, he started training him for running in marathons.

In a short time, Budhia Singh grabbed everyone’s attention and covered the paper headlines. He got many fans, but his celebrity - status also disturbed a few people. This also included the Child Development Minister who thought the wrong about the coach that he is exploiting the boy to gain funds. What happens next and how they decide their journey to Olympics. Analysis: The film is released at the correct time as it is the time of the Rio Olympics. So nothing can be much inspiring than this movie. Budhia Singh – Born to Run is a true biopic of an Indian child who belongs from the slum area of Orissa. In the age of four, he completed a 70km marathon from Bhubaneshwar to Puri under the guidance of his coach Biranchi Das. At that time, he became the hero of India and was praised by everyone. The director’s approach in telling the story leaves the audience with so many questions. He has beautifully shown that how the child develops the passion for a marathon in the need for shoes and bicycle.

The mixture of sports drama with politics is smartly presented to the audience. The writing of Biranchi’s character is cleverly done. The movie has focused more on the government twists and the cruel politics rather than emphasizing on the boy’s talent.

Manoj Bajpayee as Biranchi Das and Mayur Patole as Budhia Singh fitted in the roles perfectly. Padhi has used the kid Mayur intelligently and the camera work done on him is brilliant. We all are aware of the fact that he can fit in all the characters, and that is what he proved in this film also. He did the role of Baranchi so well that it appeared real. He was good in all the emotional scenes as well as determined as a coach. He is neither a hero nor a villain in this film, just a normal human being who helps a kid in realizing his worth and strength but gets stuck in the cruel politics.

What is there? A great and powerful biopic chosen by the director along with the amazing star cast is the first and the notable point in this list. The story appears so real that one cannot believe that it happened in a real life. Verdict: Budhia Singh – Born to Run is a unique film, showing the strength and power of an Indian, depriving of poverty but still keeping up the spirit. This movie cannot be missed, and every Indian must cheer it so that the stories that are still unknown come in front of the audience.
