Every other masala comedy starts with madness, keeps it going with havoc and with sheer confusion..The disturbance generated by the movie works towards the goal. Umesh Shukla's Dhoondte Reh Jaoge is a creative disaster. It fulfills the basic necessity of a movie; to entertain the audience. For sure, one will come out of the theater with a smiling face. Although, the first half of the movie is quite annoying, the second half, when they try to spoof successful Bollywood movies.
is enjoyable The movie spoofed top Bollywood movies like Sholay, DDLJ, Gadar, Rangeela and Lagaan making 'Solay se Lagaan tak'.

The priority is not the story of the movie but the entertainment dose in such comedy movies. The movie has a good timing of jokes and an amusing set of dialogues. This movie is in a 50-50 kind of situation.
If the movie goes well, chak de phatte te nap de killi. Yaay.
If it doesn't then no matter. Perhaps, the movie was directed unintentionally.

Plot

Raj ( Paresh Rawal The Padma Shri award winner who shot to fame with >> Read More... ), a film producer, and Anand ( Kunal Khemu Kunal Khemu is an Indian actor who was involved wi >> Read More... ), a chartered accountant, make a plan to make money by making a movie. They take a lot of money from the investors and use a quarter of it to make the movie. They split the rest of the money among themselves. They decide to make a flop film so that they don't have to repay the investors. But the movie turned out to be a hit. The investors are now after Raj and Anand for their share of the profit.
