During the battle between Ram and Ravana, the Sri Lankan King loses all his weapons and stands defenseless. If Ram has decided to finish off Ravana, he could have done it. But, he gave one more opportunity to Ravana and asked him to come the next day. However, Ravana wants to utilize the situation and decided to do tricks against Ram. With the help of his wizard brother Mahiravana, he decided to kidnap Ram and Lakshman. Cheating Hanuman who had been guarding the cave where the Ayodhya princes were resting, Mahiravana, abducts Ram and Lakshman. The rest of the story is about how Hanuman gets them back.

Star Performance

Voice artists have given out a good performance.

Analysis

Director KV Ezhil Vendan has designed a gripping screenplay. However, everyone knows that Hanuman would be successful. Mahiravana’s tricks are quite interesting. Although the direction is good, the animations are not excellent. In many places, we witnessed the proportion of the figures change scene by scene. In some scenes, the faces appear smaller than the hands and it looks quite odd.

What’s There?

  • Screenplay is gripping
  • Mahairavan's tricks and his scenes with Hanuman are interesting
  • Dubbing is neat
  • Music is okayish

What’s Not There?

  • The animation is not of a good standard

Verdict

Although the animation movie comes with a poor standard, kids might enjoy it. Go to the theaters without much expectation. You would get a different experience from the routine movies.
