Plot

DJ Rakesh accepts to do a gig in Goa to rescue his dad’s dispensary. But, he comes to know that he had been cheated and the show had been canceled. As he is need of money, he decides to carry a packet in exchange for money. Without knowing that he is carrying the drug, Rakesh takes his flight. Meanwhile, the airline employer decided to quit the transport and this made the employees grew angry on him. So, they decided to hijack the flight and unluckily, it is the flight in which Rakesh travels. What happens next? Did they hijack the flight? What happened to the passengers? Watch the film in theaters!

Star Performance

Sumeet Vyas emoted well and had done what the role requires. Similarly, Mantra and Kumud Mishra have done what the director asked them to do.

Analysis

The director should have scripted the screenplay with some gripping incidents. The comedy in the film is neither witty nor a dark comedy. The director should have strengthened the roles of the lead actors, as they are good performers. The music department is on its right path. The production values are not appreciable.

Verdict

High Jack doesn’t seem to be a feature film but a middle school drama. With good performers on the hand, the director should have put an extra effort, to make the film impressive. Even though the film runs for just 1 hour and 40 minutes, we could feel it as a lengthy film due to its unworthy scenes and comedy.
