Plot
The plot revolves primarily around a man who is held in a predicament of crime and consumerism. His only wish is to find heaven on earth. The story begins with Arjun (Emraan) who has a sixth sense and is a portrayed as a good con. He falls in love with a girl named Zoya (Sonal) at the mall while she is looking for a ring.
He breaks the glass and is caught by the security guard. Zoya motivates him to be rich. He uses his power in the match fixtures and soon starts earning a lot of money. He starts fulfilling all the wishes of Zoya and makes her fall in love with him.
The twist brings Arjun into the limelight as his success starts increasing by many folds. His dizzying starts attracting the attention of the police. Arjun has two choices now, either the love of his life or this new found success and power. The movie shows him struggling to choose between the two when an underworld don offers him a huge amount of wealth.
He denies this offer and soon finds him surrounded by the goons. The climax happens when Zoya convinces Arjun to surrender. Arjun agrees and as he drops his gun the ring he had for Zoya falls. He chooses to pick it up. He is mistaken for picking up the gun and is therefore shot.
The story ends when Zoya is seen watching with her child in a mall and being short of money the child leaves out a packet. It ends making her think that Arjun would have been alive if he could have let go of his greediness.
Analysis: You don't necessarily have to be a cricket fan to decipher the match fixing in Jannat. Kunal Deshmukh is added to the list of talents that are born as a result of the search of Vishesh Films. Vishesh's writing is dew-fresh and doesn't let the audience get bored. With amazing scenes of Cape Town and songs to hum and sing, the Bhatts have done a good job.

Jannat is one of the finest films that have come out from the box of Vishesh Films. Must watch it is.
