Plot

Jagdishwar Mishra alias Jolly starts his career as the sidekick to a popular lawyer in Kanpur. During his course of learning, he swindles Hina Siddiqui, a pregnant widow. Hina approached Jolly thinking him as a good advocate, who would bring justice for the murder of her husband. When she comes to know that he is a hoodwinker, she commits suicide. Her death left Jolly in guilt and he decides to get justice. Did he succeed in his career? Watch it in theaters.

Star Performances

Whether it is a hoodwinker or a romantic action hero, Akshay excels in the given roles. Saurabh Shukla and Akshay’s combination is extremely good. Huma and Sayani have done their part well. Annu Kapoor needs a special mention here.

Analysis

Subhash Kapoor has chosen a perfect script for Akshay Kumar. He has dragged the J&K terrorist in this installment. Hats off to his efforts for bringing a lot of giggle and laugh out loud situations. However, there are some slips and dips.

What’s There?

Akshay and team’s excellent performance impress the audiences
Laughing scenes and emotional scenes are mixed well
Entertaining first half is a big plus
Akshay’s transformation is beautifully shown

What’s Not There?

Stretchy second half; particularly the scenes before the climax
Preachy message bores the audiences

Verdict

Although the film has some gloomy scenes, Akshay makes the movie brighter with his presence. The melodramatic film designed by Subhash Kapoor with the great support from Akshay and Saurabh makes the audiences to watch it at least once. Jolly LLB 2 … worth watching.
