The movie is a sophomore effort from Yash Raj Productions revolving around four University students who are entangled in a behind-the-screen relationship through popular social networking site Facebook. On seeing Malvika in a concert performed by Rahul, Vishal has feelings of infatuations for her and sends her a request on Facebook through Rahul’s account which is accepted by Preity and there began the online pretence by Vishal and Preity as Rahul and Malvika being head over heels in love with each other in their virtual worlds. By working together in their Universities Silver Jubilee festival,  Preity and Vishal are forced to work with each other where they bicker the whole time. Meanwhile, Vishal and Preity are busted by their friends, and they request their friends Rahul and Malvika to go on a date and continue pretending for their sake. Rahul and Malvika start liking each other as they have a lot of similarities. They got involved on a double date, Malvika with Vishal and Preity with Rahul not revealing anything to each other. Eventually, Preity and Vishal sort their differences to become good friends but then Vishal’s obnoxious friend Hacky leaks an MMS of Preity to the entire University embarrassing her. She blames Vishal for the incident and begins to avoid him. Vishal then organizes a birthday party for Rahul so that he can patch up with Preity as well as ask Malvika during which he finds Rahul and Malvika kissing, and gets infuriated at his friend Rahul’s betrayal. He then goes on to tell Malvika the truth that it was he who she was chatting with and not Rahul. Preity overhears this and confronts Vishal and tells her side of story leaving her heartbroken as she began to fall in love with Vishal after getting to know him.  At the College's Silver Jubilee festival, Vishal turns a wise man and tells Preity that he loves her on stage during the event, celebrating the youthful romance.

STAR PERFORMANCES:

Saqib Salim is a pure charmer who is full of life playing his part perfectly from a mischievous boy to the funny and romantically engrossed guy. Saba Azad portrays her many shaded characters with much ease making it a pleasurable watch for the viewers. Tara D’Souza being gorgeous as ever plays her small role with much ease and delight effortlessly. Nishant Dahiya has the rockstar image going there showcasing a supportive friend indeed. ANALYSIS:

Mujhse Fraandship Karoge is a sweet teen romance in the era of broadband connections, social networking sites.

WHAT’S THERE?

Mujhse Fraandship Karoge has some fresh faces of great talent. It has a synchronized blend of romance and comedy. The music composed by Raghu Dixit Raghu Dixit, born in Mysuru, Karnataka, is a famou >> Read More... makes you step onto the dance floor while the lyrics are catchy. All the songs fit perfectly with the storyline and situations not making them seem just thrown into the scene. Finally not to do away with the visual impact of the movie which is captured by its bright and attractive cinematography.

WHAT’S NOT THERE?

The movie is restrictive in matters of age catering only to a section of the society therefore not being popular in the older generational groups. Although major sections are tactfully witty, some scenes take a deviation, losing its humour, seemingly dragging it a bit in certain scenes of the movie.

VERDICT:

The movie effectively delivered through its fresh faces and humour. It shows bonds of friendship also and showcases the pros and cons of social networking sites. The youthful romance has also been done just right to focus on the urban youth life with the timely tunes to make one dance on his/her feet. It most definitely is a harmless way to pass one’s time while keeping the mood light.
