PLOT
Although the film does not have a superb, there is a simple story revolving around activities taking place in Mahendra Pratap Singh's empire. The heroine Dimpy had a huge empire in which mishaps were taking place viz., their garden got completely ruined, the reasons of this damage appeared natural but were not known. Also, the father's favorite horse died a premature death whose reason is still unknown. This was not all, the biggest of all mishaps was the death of Mahendra Pratap Singh. He was a very strong person, and his sudden death was not at all expected.After all this Samrat with his assistant Chakradhar Pandey(Gopal Dutt) went to Mahendra Pratap's empire for investigation of murder, unsuspected deaths, and ruined garden.In this story, it seems that every character is hiding something.
ANALYSIS
According to me, the story's base was not that bad, but the climax killed it.I liked Rajeev's acting pretty much, and also some dialogue like "Pyaar aur war main sab fair hota hai kyunki do no main second prize nahi hota" and "aadmi vo nahi hota jo chupata hai aadmi vo hota hai jo dikhata hai" are appealing.
I found this movie to be an Indian version of Sherlock Holmes (although the comparison goes weak on many points, so it's better to be off tune with that.I also liked Sanjay Masoom's dialogues.
STAR PERFORMANCE
Rajeev is the show stealer of this movie. He exhibited a strong personality and uplifted the film by his acting. The supporting actors were also good, but again, the star of the movie was Rajeev.
WHAT'S THERE?
1. The movie is full of suspense that hold the audience hooked to the seat
2. There is a balanced dosage of romance in the movie.
3. The suspense element adds to the thrill of the movie.
WHAT'S NOT THERE?
1. Music is just average
2. The climax is not up to the mark.
3. The supporting artist’s characters are not etched properly.
VERDICT
This movie completely disappoints us.
