Plot

An easygoing, cheerful girl named Ananya lives a simple life with her family. But soon falls in love with a carefree, laid-back man called Gautum, and their secret relationship begins. He unknowingly befriends the girl’s mother, and they share their problems. Due to a complicated entanglement of relations, things get messy, and her family prestige, the guy decides to scarify his love and move on in his life. After a few years, they all are determined to live together as friends and be happier than before.

Star Performance

Arjun Raj, who played the male lead, Gautum, did a brilliant job as a romantic man who also understands the importance of friendship. Roja played the female lead, Ananya, as the daughter of an orthodox mother and a lover under too much pressure. The mother, who slowly changes her perspectives on meeting a new friend, got played by Chitrakala Biradar. Some supporting actors didn’t get much screen time but still performed well.

Analysis

The movie got based on two types of love between three people. One is a mother-daughter love, and the other is a romantic relationship between the daughter and her new lover. It gives the audience three different perspectives of love and their understanding. The mother came to accept the changes and realized her mistakes slowly. A respectful bond between the mother and Gautum got developed through the years. The story provides a romance that ends tragically but still produces a beautiful friendship that is much stronger and more trusting.
