Plot

Ramesh Aravind arrives in Bengaluru to participate in a television show. He happens to stay in a bungalow which is called Preethi Nilaya. There something queer happens….five generations of his ancestors are roaming there as spirits, and they are in dire need of salvation by a sixth generation member. What happens later? How is the relation between Ramesh and the spirits showed? What is the love angle of the film? Is there any villain in the film? These questions are unraveled in the movie. 

Star Performances

Anant Nag does an outstanding performance and attracts the audiences with his onscreen charisma. It is no exaggeration to tell that this is one of his great performances. Ramesh Aravind, who plays the grandchild of this generation, is given a role with comic shades, and he does a convincing job. Analysis

Sunil Kumar Desai has taken care that this movie has the right shades of comedy in it. Ramesh Aravind is facing the camera as an actor after a short gap, and his role is interspersed with energy. Music director Hamsalekha is also composing music for this film after a gap. 

What’s there?

  • The story is engaging, and you are hooked to the seats most of the times.
  • Those who keep track of Desai's progress in films would find this movie appealing. 
  • We very well know what happens next but still the movie manages to sustain our interest, at least in the first half. 
  • The comedy element is one of the assets of the film. 

What’s not there?

  • The movie has some characters that are not required for the flow of the film.
  • The music of Hamsalekha could have been composed so that it suits the current generation. 

Verdict

The movie is a clean family entertainer which can be watched once.
