Plot

Siddu, a man afflicted with a disorder that blurs the line between reality and dreams. His greatest obstacle is finding a woman who will accept him despite his condition. His search for a life partner concludes when he meets Madhu.

However, when Madhu departs for Rajasthan to attend a wedding, Siddu becomes entangled in a murder investigation. The question that arises is whether the murder is genuine or merely a product of Siddu's imagination. Will he be able to return to a normal existence after the tumultuous events that unfold?

Star Performance

The plot features the romantic relationship between Praveen Tej and the stunning Shilpa Manjunath. Saurav Lokesh also deserves recognition for his exceptional performance as the police inspector, fitting seamlessly into his role.

Analysis

The plot of the story centres around a man named Siddu who suffers from a psychological disorder known as nightmare disorder, making it difficult for him to distinguish between dreams and reality. The story takes a dark turn when his friend is murdered, and the rest of the narrative revolves around the investigation into the crime. Striker is a thrilling movie that keeps you on the edge of your seat, with an intriguing plot. It is a unique attempt by director Pawan Trivikram to combine a murder case with a portrayal of disorders, which is rare in the Sandalwood industry.Although the first half is fairly ordinary, the second half picks up the pace and keeps you engrossed. Praveen Tej delivers another exceptional performance, following his role in Churi Katte. He deserves praise for seamlessly portraying his character. The music score by Bharath BJ is impressive and contributes to the overall quality of the movie. All in all, Striker is definitely worth watching.

Verdict

The movie is quite interesting considering the budget, the efforts put into making of this film is something which is to be praised. The director has done very well in portraying the character and overall screenplay of the movie.
