Plot:
Appooppanthadi is a story of a family living in a city with grandparents living in a small village. The story depicts how childhood has changed over time and how we have completely mislaid essence of it. It's about how a brother and sister enjoy their vacation with their grandparents and how they spend their time when they are in their own home. The story shows beautiful to dark experiences of the modern childhood and slowly movie reaches the climax.
Analysis
Beautiful story and concept but unfortunately did not come out so well. Background score gives you Kerala vibes. The cinematography is typical and a lot more is expected from a cinematography unit. The direction is poor and definitely makes the story boring. Visualization makes the story look very ordinary and finally even after a beautiful concept and story the movie completely loses its grip on the audience due to lousiness of the team.
Star Performances
Child actors did a good job but little more is expected other than that in the movie overacting and underperformances are clearly visible.

• Good music.
• A slow paced movie.
Verdict
A lovely story yet not a brilliant movie and hence, little boring. The audience may or may not like the movie but worth a watch if you are story fan.
