Plot

Mollykutty, Rosemary, Saroja, and Vilasini are four elderly women who live in a house with their caretaker, Jeemon. One day Mollykutty’s childhood love, Kuttanpillai comes back to her. In a hawala dealing with a local don, Kuttanpillai cheats him and escapes with the money. Will the grandmothers help Kuttanpillai? How will they do it?

Star Performance

The four women in the movie definitely stole the show. In some scenes like when they learn how to use Whatsapp, they portray the innocence and curiosity to learn new things at that age very well.

Analysis

The women-centric theme of the movie is carried out well throughout the movie. Although the story was not that big, the output was presented nicely. The setting and overall vibe of the movie added to the plus points.

What’s There?

• Amazing cast and plot.

• Comedy throughout the film is entertaining.

What’s Not There?

• It gets confusing with all the names and the use of Dakini for a group instead of a single person is also confusing.

• The pace is slow. Some parts can be cut out from the film without changing the story.

Verdict
