Plot

The impact of demonetization is seen in the country and some of the black money stashers in Kerala are doing what they can to save their currencies. Mammootty is a financier who is also caught in this act. There are also some underprivileged people who are focused in the movie. Besides, what is the role of a young boy in the movie? Watch the movie to know.

Star Performances

Mammootty as usual shines in his performance and his Kasargode dialect is something worth mentioning. Debutante Master Swaraj Gramika has worked in a seamless manner. The debut of him is welcoming. Ineya has a substantial role to play and she does it well. The other cast do what is required of them.

Analysis

Director Ranjith had earlier made the film Indian Rupee Click to look into! >> Read More... and it had an interesting concept. With Puthan Panam having the theme of demonetization and its effects, the director has carved the characters nicely. But the film loses its shine midway. There are some scenes that are silly.
