Plot

Unni Mukundan Born on the 22nd of September, 1987, Unni Mukundan >> Read More... is a college lecturer, but his passion is to script a movie. Knowing that a renowned director is admitted to a hospital in his locality, he decides to meet and narrate his story to him. The rest of the story deals with this.

Star performance

In this movie, the Performance of Aparna Balamurali is splendid. As always, Asif Ali has given justice to the role he played. Dharmanjan Bolgatty has contributed many funny moments throughout the movie, his performance was really good to watch. All the other cast; Siddique, Srinivasan, and Asha Sharath played their roles interestingly.

Analysis

The story of Sunday Holiday revolves around the struggle of filmmakers to make their first project. Jis Joy’s movie narrates a story within a story, in which both the stories speak about achieving one’s dream without giving up. The direction is interesting to watch and keeps the audience engaged. Aparna Balamurali is a multi-talented actress and she excellently proves it in this movie. As usual, the natural and subtle acting of Asif Ali will not disappoint his fans. The humorous role played by Dharmajan Bolgatty acts as a cherry on top. The music of Deepak Dev Deepak Devraj Komath is the original name of Deepa >> Read More... remains in our ears, it is melodious and is apt for the situations. The performance of the cinematographer is splendid. There are many meaningful and philosophical dialogues in the movie. All the cast have performed well in their assigned roles.

Unni Mukundan (the role played by Sreenivasan) wants to be a scriptwriter, his determination pushes him to meet the director admitted at the hospital to deliver his story. Most of us have goals in our lives, but some of us might drop those dreams in the midway to avoid struggles, on the other side, some of us might work hard to achieve our dreams at any cost. This is perfectly shown in this film.

The story may sound very common but, the humor, presentation, and thrill keep the audience in a sense of awe. The climax is a bit delayed. Overall it is a feel-good genuine, motivating movie.

Sunday Holiday is a feel-good, comedy and romantic movie. It is worth watching movie with family members. A very simple but beautiful movie. It teaches us life lessons and motivates us. Fans of Asif Ali will not be disappointed.
