Plot
An aspiring actor from a village tries hard to become a hero. Luckily he gets a chance to make his debut in the film industry and hence he gets trained. But, the producer removed him from the film at the last minute, and the heart-broken hero returns to his village. His well-wisher in the village decided to make him the hero and suggests producing the film jointly. Did they succeed in their attempt? The rest of the story deals with it.
Star Performance
Akhil has given a decent performance and fits well in the role of a village boy. The heroines didn’t have much to do. Rajendran did justice to the given role and Yogi Babu appears in an extended cameo role.
Analysis
The director has attempted to bring out the challenges faced by the youngsters who come to Chennai, carrying the hero dreams. The screenplay has no gripping elements. The biggest plus point in the film is Naan Kadavul Rajendran and Yogi Babu. Akhil is a good actor and his debut film, “Kalloori,” proved his acting talent. If he is choosy with his scripts, he could have got some better roles. Engada Iruntheenga Ivvalavu Naala has a good climax, but as the screenplay is not gripping, the climax didn’t impress. The cinematography is good and the music is average.
