Plot

Ravi and Perumal, the close buddies are the cutout artists. In a fight with a police, Ravi and Perumal are compelled to leave the city and both are moving to Tirunelveli, the hometown of Ravi. After Perumal moves to Tirunelveli, he calls his mother and sister to shift their base to Tirunelveli, where he works. So, his family is now settled in Nellai. When Perumal falls in love with his neighbor, Ravi falls for Perumal’s sister. When Rajini’s Manidhan and Kamal’s Nayagan were screened on the same day, the fans fight starts. Irked on this, a local politician bans the cutouts in the city with the help of a minister. As the friends fight, the love between Ravi and Perumal’s sister starts to sour. Did they unite? Watch the film in theaters.

Star Performance

Natty’s performance as a Rajini fan is excellent. Rajaji has done justice to his role. Without any overdoses, Rajaji has performed his role with ease. Sanchita appears as a homely girl of 80s and impresses us.

Analysis

Ramu Chellappa has taken a good script in his hands, which suits for the current generation too. Dialogues are sharp and attract the fans of Rajini and Kamal. Keep it up, Ramu!

What’s There?

Performances of the lead roles are good
Radha Ravi is perfect for the role as a politician
Songs and BGM synchs with the story

What’s Not There?

In the second half, Rajaji lost his importance, as the director concentrated only with Natty
The action scenes are exaggerated and it seems very artificial

Verdict

On the whole, Enkitta Mothathey is a complete action thriller film dedicated to Rajini and Kamal fans. If you are free this weekend, do visit the theater and have fun watching Enkitta Mothathe.
