Plot

Torn apart by his brother's murder, Joseph is released from prison fueled by vengeance against Kiruba who was the drug peddler who framed him. Joseph finds an unlikely ally Selva, a young vibrant college student who dreams of being a footballer who is frustrated with life due to the lack of opportunities to work with him to take down Kiruba.

Star Performance

The transformation of Vijay Kumar from a normal employee to a gritty fighter is commendable, showcasing emotional depth and action prowess. Monisha Mohan Menen plays Maya, a lawyer caught in the mess adds complexity to the narrative. However, Karthikeyan Santhanam as the cunning antagonist, Vicky, steals the show in several scenes. The lead roles' amazing screen presence and the supporting roles’ chilling performances elevate the film's tension.

Analysis

A brutal and narratively flawed, exploration of societal issues and the allure of violence disappoints. Vijay Kumar shines in his action sequences, and the technical team did a wonderful job. However, the movie falls with a predictable plot and underdeveloped characters.
