This is the era when many low-budget movies are becoming successful. The movie Inaiya Thalaimurai has handled a different concept. The audiences need to read the review below to know how the movie has fared.

Plot

The movie’s plot centers the elections held in a college and has both the protagonist and antagonist in it. There are romantic scenes aplenty in the movie. Aswin Kumar Ashwin Kumar is an Indian actor who is well-known >> Read More... is the movie’s hero. Sanjay plays the role of the antagonist in the movie. Both the hero and the antagonist love Manisha Jith.
Aswin Kumar opines that many people hesitate to turn up in person for vote, and hence carries out a project such that people could vote through the internet. He successfully completes the project and requests the dean of the college to implement the project. But, the dean refuses to do so. Then, there is a twist in the movie as the college management hands the very same project to Aswin Kumar in college elections. In the other end, the antagonist Sanjay clashes with the hero in the elections. What happens next is the rest of the story.

Star Performances

Aswin Kumar has done the role of a college guy in the movie. His performance is above par. He has done well in the romantic scenes. Although there is not much scope for the heroine Manisha Jith in the movie, she has done well the role given to her. Sanjay, who emerges as the politician’s son, has played the role of antagonist well. There is no other mentionable cast in the movie. But, with the few actors in it, the director has done it well.

Analysis

This is the time for elections, and the movie with its theme of hundred percent votes could create awareness among the masses. The director needs applause for taking up the theme.

What is there?

The numbers by Gopinath are worth hearing.
The cinematography by Auro deserves appreciation.
The movie’s story is something worthwhile which could draw audiences to the theater.

What is not there?

There could have been more depth to the screenplay.
There are very few actors in the movie, and the director could have taken care of the amount of actors in it.
There is no mentionable comedy track in the movie.

Verdict:

The movie has the potential to draw a huge number of audiences to the theater.
