Plot

The film is about 3 boys from a small town, who are the ardent fans of “Vijay.” They dreamed of meeting Vijay and decided to go to Chennai. With immense hardships, they found out Vijay's house and had been waiting to meet Vijay. Did they meet their matinee idol? What happens in between? Watch the film in theatres.

The young boys had performed well and showcased how the young fans would react when their stars’ films release. The supporting stars have also done their best.

Analysis

Although there are lots of films that portray the fan stories, Moondru Rasigarkal is a different one. The director has not only showed the mindset of the fans, but also the reality and proved that cinema is not the life, but it's just an entertainment part. The director had scripted it well and also had shown the bonding between the fans and the star. The fans are neatly portrayed but the screenplay lags. The production values are average.
