Plot

Rajasekharan is running a hotel and managing a petrol bunk. He is living happily with his wife and they have a cute daughter too. Raja’s brother-in-law Ayyappan created a tough situation and made Raja’s past come out. Following this, police and gangsters started chasing Raja. Had Raja involved in any crime? How did Raja solve all the issues and gets back to a happy life is the rest of the plot!

Star Performance

Mammootty has performed as an all-rounder as usual. He has satisfied the regular audiences as well as his fans. Raai Laxmi looks cute and she performs the given role neatly. Joju George’s comedy performances work out well.

Analysis

With the script by Udaykrishna and Siby, Ajai had designed the scenes well. The commercial formula had worked out well for Mammooka. The technical and the production department had done their job properly. Gopi Sunder’s BGM gels well with the script and impresses the audiences.

What’s There?

Mass performance by Mammootty and comedy performance by Joju
Flashback scenes are beautifully designed
BGM is perfect and highlights the scenes
Action sequences receive appreciation from the audiences

What’s Not There?

Nothing to be pinpointed as negative, but the commercial elements are a bit more

Verdict

Overall, Nanthan Raja is a visual treat to Mammootty fans. For the people, who had been watching only the performance-oriented movies for a long time, this commercial entertainer will definitely be a relief. Nanthan Raja… watch worthy!
