Puyala Kilambi Varom is the romantic action entertainer starring Thaman Kumar and " Madhushree" in the lead roles. Kumki Ashwin, “ Singampuli,” Hariharan and RNR Manohar are also in the star cast. Puyala Kilambi Varom is scripted and directed by G Arumugam and produced by V Hariharan under the banner Jayasree Movie Makers. The music composition of Puyala Kilambi Varom is by Charles Dhana. Guru Ayyadurai and Pa Karuppaiya penned the lyrics. V Vijay is the DOP of Puyala Kilambi Varom. S Sathishkumar edited the film. Nandha Kumar is the art director and Action Prakash is the stunt director.
Thaman Kumar runs a cable network in his area. Kumki Ashwin works in his office. Singampuli, a Dubai return is a friend of Thaman. Thaman, who meets Madhushree falls in love with her at first sight. In a couple of meetings, Madhu falls for Thaman. RNR Manohar is a local goon. He grabs others property by threatening their lives. He grabs the property from Thaman’s well wisher. On hearing this, Thaman complaints to the Police and Manohar gets arrested. Soon, Manohar gets bail and takes revenge on Thaman. With the help of his rowdies, Manohar beats Thaman. Later Thaman’s friends admit him in the hospital. He tells the truth to his friends and Thaman’s friends decide to take revenge on Manohar. They plan to thrash Manohar. Thaman Kumar and Madhushree had done their roles with perfection as per the director’s order. Thaman has emoted well in the romance scenes and the action sequence. Manohar had over acted as the villain.
G Arumugam has given a rural romantic entertainer with the template items. Puyala Kilambi Varom is the mixture of romance, comedy and action. However, the script is an outdated one.
What’s Not There?
With not so familiar faces, the director tried to give a masala entertainer. Although the narration and the sequences are good, it doesn’t suit the latest trend and hence the film didn’t impress the people. However, Puyala Kilambi Varom could be watched once!
