It is indeed heartening if a movie emerges a winner despite the lack of A-List artists. Well, let’s see whether the recently released Sethu Boomi manages to entertain the audience.Â
Plot
Thaman completes his education and is employed in Chennai.  He aspires to get a job in China. Hence, after making the necessary arrangements to go to China, he goes to his native place Ramanathapuram to spend some quality time with his parents. Here, he falls in love with Samskruthy, who is brought up by her father and share a deep bond with her maternal uncle. Samsruthy declines Thaman’s proposal saying that she cannot leave her father. Being such the situation, Thaman gets dejected and decides to go to China. Here then, a mysterious gang tries to kill Thaman. Samskruthy, who happens to be in that place, is being hit unexpectedly. Who are the villains? Does Samskruthi escape from the clutches of the villains? Watch the movie to find out.Â

Thaman Kumar slips into the character of a village boy with utmost ease. He also has a good onscreen presence.

looks pretty and has been offered meaty role; she has given a convincing performance. Singam Puli has done a commendable job on the comedy track. Director Kendrian Muniasami, who also essays the role of the heroine’s uncle, impresses us with his outstanding performance.Â
Analysis
A R Kendrian Muniasami, who has directed his second film after the 2011 endeavour Ayyan, has also handled the story, dialogues, and screenplay of the film. As for his direction, the film is not dramatic, which is a major asset. Also, the director has utilized the talents of the lead artists in a commendable manner.Â
