Plot

A street racer gets caught by the honest traffic cop. The cop embarrasses the racer in public and from that moment, he turns the rival of the racer. An expected twist in their life makes them meet again. The biker’s elder sister gets engaged with the traffic cop. This doesn’t reduce the enmity between the racer and the cop. Did the marriage take place? What did they do? Watch the interesting film in theaters.

Star Performance

GV Prakash and Siddharth had done an excellent job. GV Prakash is seen as a rugged guy and he fits in the role well and he has been polishing his acting skills in every movie. Siddharth has chosen a different role in his career and shaped it out well. Lijomol has got a meaty role and she played it correctly. The rest of the stars had done what is needed for their roles.

Analysis

Already Sasi proved his worth in the emotional stories, including Poo and Pichaikaran. SMP also has emotional scenes that touch the audiences. The film creates some hope that honest cops are existing in society. The music composition by Siddhu Kumar is excellent. He has done a great job with his background score that gels well with the script. The cinematography and editing are superb. The casting team has done a great job with their artists’ selection.

What’s There?

Performance of the stars are good
The cinematography and the BGM are excellent
Emotional scenes are shot neatly

What’s Not There?

Although the emotional scenes are good, we have seen a lot of brother-sister drama

Verdict

SMP has all the essential elements to attract all class audiences. The emotional drama impresses the people who love that genre. However, it is definitely a one-time watch.
