Plot
The hero of Soorathengai is a drunkard. His full-time hobby is drinking… drinking and drinking. Although his mother tried a lot to change his drinking habit, he never lends his ears to her. This drunkard hero has a cousin, who loves him sincerely. When she expresses her wish to marry him, the hero says that after she completes her twelfth standard, he will marry her. Meanwhile, in a fight with a politician’s brother, the hero kills him. What happens next? Did the hero and heroine unite?
Star Performances
The script and the screenplay fails and the actors too. And the equipment used in the film seem to be some five decades old. Even the TV serials are being shot with high technology cameras.
Analysis
Sanjeev Srinivasan directed the film. The script selection is terrible. In this modern 4G technology world, the director has chosen a Stone Age story. Music is also a big drawback.
