Plot

' Srikanth Srikanth is an Indian cinema actor. He has mainly >> Read More... ' dons a double role as brothers in this film. He is the son of Thalaivaasal Vijay and Rekha. The younger brother is romancing Lakshmi Rai since his school days. When this affair is known by Srikanth’s family, they decide to get the love-birds married. Being such the situation, elder brother Srikanth also falls for Lakshmi Rai. He is hell bent on getting the love of Lakshmi Rai. When his family knows about this, they send him out of the house.

There is also the parallel story of ' Suman He was born on August 28, 1959 in the city Mangalo >> Read More... ', who mortgages for high-interest rates and usurps the properties of the victims. Thalaivasal Vijay Vijay ( Vijaykumar) got the title Thalaivasal as h >> Read More... is also one such victim. Suman eventually kills Thalai Vasal Vijay, Rekha, Lakshmi Rai and Srikanth. The younger brother Srikanth and Rai Lakshmi turn ghosts and try to avenge Suman. Do Srikanth and Rai Lakshmi take revenge of Suman? What happened to the elder brother? Star Performances

Srikanth excels in his double role while Lakshmi Rai attracts the viewers with her beauty. Notwithstanding Lakshmi Rai has given an outstanding performance as a ghost. .Suman, Thalaivasal Vijay, Singam Puli, and Rekha have done what is required of them.

Nowadays horror films are getting an overwhelming response from the audiences, the best example being Aranmanai and its sequel. Who knows a sequel to Sowcarpettai will also be made? Vadivudaiyan, the director of Sowcarpettai, has seen to it that he has extracted good performances from the lead actors.
