Plot

Raghuvaran, the engineering graduate, finds it hard to succeed in his job. He is a married man now. He has to balance both his profession and family life. Sustaining in his job becomes a question mark when Vasundhara Parameshwar enters in as a biggie competitor to his construction business. How Raghuvaran faces all the troubles given by his competitor is the main theme of the script. Did he succeed in his business and family life? Watch the film in theaters.

Star Performance

As usual, Dhanush has performed well. Yet, it seems he had overacted a bit. Kajol has done a good job. However, her role is not as strong as we thought. Samuthirakani, Saranya, Amala Paul, Vivek and others had done justice to their roles. Ritu Varma replaced “ Surabhi Surabhi was a famous show that was telecasted on D >> Read More... ” from the first part.

Analysis

Soundarya Rajinikanth tried to prove her as a good director. However, she slipped while balancing the Mass Dhanush and Biggie Kajol. Soundarya, who scripted the screenplay could have given a bit extra importance to Kajol, which might have made her role majestic. However, Kajol has done the given role with perfection. Kajol’s looks and mannerism is just awesome.

What’s There?

Dhanush and Kajol are the biggest assets in the film
Music by Sean Roldan is good; yet we miss Anirudh Ravichander
Soundarya had managed well to link the script of VIP with VIP 2
Comedy part is well as in VIP

What’s Not There?

Screenplay is not compelling
Climax is not much impressive

Verdict

Soundarya and Dhanush have tried to bring a good sequel of VIP. But, they have crossed half of the well, well. However, VIP 2 is a mass movie for Dhanush fans. For the people, who expected Kajol’s presence, it might be a bit disappointing. VIP 2 WORTH WATCHING once!
