Plot

Krishna is a happy go lucky guy, who joins in an engineering college. He meets Meera, his senior. Meera is an aspiring writer, who pens the life of a sex worker. Krishna falls for Meera, even though she is his senior. When everything has been going on fine, an unwanted incident happens and makes Krishna a rough and tough guy. After a couple of years, Krishna becomes the student union leader. His junior Satya falls for him and tries to change him, as before. Did she succeed in her attempt? Watch the film in theaters.

Star Performance

We could say that Nikhil has performed exceptionally well in his character. By playing in two different shades, he proved his flexibility in jumping over to the roles. His performance in the climax gets appreciation from critics and the audiences. Simran has done her job well. Samyuktha’s performance is also good.

Analysis

The makers have slightly altered the script to match the Telugu sensibilities. The production values of the film are good. The college scenes were perfectly designed to make the people go nostalgic and the college goers will definitely enjoy those sequences, as it relates their present life.

What’s Not There?

The screenplay is not much stronger while comparing it with the Kannada version
The second half has no exciting elements except the climax
Comedy is not impressive

Verdict

Although the film has a lot of drawbacks, it is pretty decent, while comparing to some nonsense romantic entertainers. Kirrak Party is definitely a one-time watch!
