Lajja is about a woman who leads a miserable life due to his husband who is very strict. He tries to control her and always want to make decisions for her. It is a hard- hitting movie which will move the audience.

Plot: It is a female- centric flick, where the lead character Suseela is struggling with her problems related to personal life. She is fed up with her current life with his husband. One day she meets a young man named, Varun with whom she falls in love. She chooses to start living a new life with Varun, and thus she runs away with him. But later, some misshapen takes place in her life. What is that incident which happens and thus this makes up the rest of the story?

Analysis: The picture has been directed by a very talented director, Narasimha Nandi Narsimha Nandi, born as Narsimha Reddy is an India >> Read More... , who has earlier proved himself through films like Kamala Tho Prayanam. Thus he should be appreciated for his hard- hitting plot. The editing of the flick is good and decent, and the music in it has given it a special effect.

Star Performances: The role of Suseela is portrayed by Madhumita. Her excellent acting skills have left the audience moved and speechless. Another actor Shiva has given full support to the character of Suseela and thus is liked by the people.

What’s there?

1. As the film is female- centric thus it shows the willpower and how strong can a woman be when she encounters some huge problems in her life.

2. The dialogues are well written and have been delivered in such a way that the viewers can connect it with them.

3. How woman deals with these practical issues has been revealed in the flick.

4. The chemistry between them is good and is appreciated a lot.

5. Music has completed the effect of the movie.

What’s not there?

1. The climax of the picture is not at all up to the mark. Thus, in the end, it makes the spectators disappointed.

2. The story moves at a very slow pace thus making the audience super bored.

3. Some scenes shown do not connect with the story and are bit confusing.

4. The film does not have any commercial value and would be hard to digest for a regular watcher.

Verdict: The flick is based on the theme of a very famous novel. As it is difficult to make movies on very famous books, Lajja fails to the expectations of the people. Though the makers have tried their best to execute the picture but climax of it leads it down.
