Plot

The film revolves around a person named Homanand. He is a serious and hardworking person. He wishes to fulfill his father’s dream of buying a house. For this, he works day and night, earning money to buy the house. One day, his hard work pays off. With great effort, he saves the necessary amount to purchase the home. After a few days, he experiences some strange and frightening things in the house. He learns that a ghostly creature dwells in his home and does not want him to stay there. The ghost is trying to drive him away from his property. Homanand decides to fight this ghost. Will he be successful in defeating it? Will he run away from it and, unfortunately, leave his home? What is the story behind the ghost and the house? Why is it harming Homanand?

Star Performance

Homanand gave an excellent performance on his debut. Suman, who played the role of Homanand’s father, executed his role with all the required emotions. His performance is very impressive. Comedian Raghu Karumanchi makes the film engaging. He makes the film entertaining by making everyone laugh. Pavani, the female lead, gave a decent performance. She looks pretty on screen. Priyanka Sharma, who played the role of the ghost, performed very well. Her performance adds value to the film. Raghu Karumanchi, Prabhakar, and the rest of the cast did everything required.

Analysis

Film Homanand has a poor concept. The storyline is weak, and the narration is average. The emotional scene of a dying father and his son is beautifully showcased. The chemistry between Homanand and Pavani is fantastic. The comedic scenes are also very entertaining. But except for these two or three scenes, the whole film seems dull. The second half of this film is more engaging, but until this time, it becomes difficult for the audience to sit after a tiring first half. The songs and background music of this film are also below average.

Verdict

Except for some scenes, Homanand seems to be a dull film. Horror elements could be presented in a better way. Climax scenes could be made better. However, the comedic scenes make the film entertaining. You can give it a try. If you love comedy, you will enjoy this film.
