Plot

Rama Rao, who works in a government concern wanted to quit it and join cinema. His wife Basavatarakam supports him well and shoulders him in all the tough situations. How Rama Rao enters the film industry and what all the hurdles he faced in his life to become a Superstar has been shown in Kathanayakudu.

Star Performance

This is the best ever performance of Balakrishna. He reprised his dad and lived in the role. His expressions and body language are good. Coming to Vidya Balan, the wonderful lady's performance is excellent. While seeing the importance of her role, we could come to know why she agreed to do the film. Whether it is Rana or Rakul, everyone had done their part well in the given screen space.

Analysis

Krish has narrated the script well. His narration between NTR and the other characters are impressive. The casting team should be appreciated for picking up the right stars. But, the cameo stars are not shown properly. They enter the scene and before we think about them, they leave the scene. Krish should have concentrated a bit more in the cameo roles too. The cinematography by Gnana Shekar is excellent. Dialogues are crisp and the modulation by Balayya is extraordinary. Keeravani’s music is brilliant and the BGM for NTR is stunning.

Cameo stars are not concentrated well

Verdict

NTR Kathanayakudu is a wonderful film with good performance from the stars. With the right star selection, the film takes us back to the good old days of NTR. NTR Kathanayakudu – Watch Worthy!
