A Lionsgate production, The Cabin in the Woods promise an adventurous tour with this thrilling trailer. Five friends decide to spend some time off in a cabin located at a remote place. There are no means of communicating with the outside world, and that’s when things start happening with them. A simple and innocent get-away plan turns out to be the scariest and near death experience for them. Drew Goddard, who has been associated with some epic thrillers in the past including Lost (TV Series), is trying his hands on direction for the first time with this movie. There are some nerve-gripping scenes which will put you on the edge of your seats the whole time.

The star cast includes Kristen Connolly, Chris Hems worth, Anna Hutchison, Fran Kranz, Jesse Williams, Bradley Whitford and Richard Jenkins. The whole movie has a budget of around $30 million and is shot in Vancouver. Due to the financial issues of the studio, the release of this movie has been delayed many times. Originally scheduled to be released in 2010, it got delayed until Jan, 2011 and then finally it was premiered on March 9, 2012.

During the shoot of the movie, British Columbia Institute of Technology’s Aerospace building was used for many wide shots whereas elevators, underground complex scenes were shot in sets. It has a runtime of 95 minutes and it was released in two languages, English and Japanese. The Gross Box Office collection of this movie is estimated to be around $42 million. With this trailer, the movie promises to be a gripping, bold and fearful adventure, not just for the characters but for the audience as well.
