Sangamesh Upase is a talented actor, who became famous for his role in Silli Lalli. He acted as the clever doctor’s assistant and is called as Kothi Govinda. Just as other stars of this comedy serial, Sangamesh also became famous for his role.
Sangamesh is a typical person with determination, who makes the serial rich for visualizing and one with determination. He hails from a weaver’s family and grew up carrying out small menial jobs like cattle grazing, selling lottery tickets and even washing vessels in hotels. His interest in theater saw him enacting roles in plays. He pursued his studies and after completing graduation, he opted for KAS. His hard work paid off and he is an officer in Karnataka Power Development Board today.
He has acted in a string of Kannada serials like Banna, Kavyanjali, and Galibeli Kalleshi etc. Very soon he was acting in Kannada movies and his debut film was Veera Kannadiga. He also assisted directing the movie Soorappa and few more movies like Kiladi Kitty, God father and Kuchiku Kuchi
On 19th October 2009, he had an eventful day in Ravindra Kalakshetra. He released his book of poems called Gandhi Mettu Beku, an audio CD named Nannavaligagi and a play was staged by the title A Dil Maange More. In a way Sangamesh scored a hat trick on that day.

Manju Bhashini hit the fame mode for his role in the comedy serial Silli Lalli and after that, there was no looking back. In the series, she acted as a social worker named Lalli and won fans galore.
