English Cartoon Dragon Ball GT

Dragon Ball GT is a Japanese animated series based on the ‘Dragon Ball’ manga series created by Akira Toriyama. It was produced by Toei Animation and initially was aired in Japan on Fuji TV in 1996. Since then, it has been translated into various languages like English, Hindi and aired in multiple countries. While the characters have been taken from the manga, the story is entirely new and it is not based on any previous works. The crux of the Dragon Ball universe is the seven dragon balls spread across the galaxy.

When combined they summon a dragon who has the power to grant any wish made to it. However, after the dragon fulfils the wish, the dragon balls spread out and remain to be found again. Conflicts arise among various characters as they try to take all the seven dragon balls and fulfil their desires. Dragon Ball GT takes part in the Dragon Ball universe and follows the events of the Dragon Ball Z. The main characters in this series are Goku, his granddaughter Pam and Trunks. The story is made up of multiple sagas or storylines. Goku and his friends take on new adventures in each of these sagas as go on different adventures and battle out enemies.

The first part focuses on Goku, Pam, and Trunks, while later on, the characters from the previous series are brought back in different sagas. Dragon Ball GT starts as Goku has been turned into a baby by Emperor Pilaf accidentally. He along with Pam and Trunks try to reverse this and get Goku back to his original form. While on the quest to find the black star Dragon Balls they encounter enemies that want to destroy the earth. When Goku successfully gains back his original form, a different tragedy awaits. Shadow Dragons were created due to the overuse of dragon balls.

Goku and his friends fight off all but the Syn Sheron dragon. Unable to defeat him, Goku performs fusion with Vegeta and fights the dragon. The series ends as Goku successfully fights off the Shadow dragons and saves the earth. Dragon Ball GT is one of the classic anime series. It follows some of the most loved anime characters including Goku, Vegeta, and Piccolo. The fight sequences are beautiful to watch, and the show has some of the best animation in the entire Dragon Ball franchise.
