Prison Break (season1) is an American Drama series in English and Spanish which was created by Paul Scheuring. The season aired on FOX channel from 29 August 2005 to 15 may 2006 and consisted of 22 episodes. The show was shown on the slot timing of 9: 00 pm. The show is somewhat related to Breakout Kings another American show with the same theme. The story revolves around the two brothers from which one of them was sentenced to death although he was completely innocent.

The other one who is younger makes a mastermind plan to help his brother escape from the prison by purposely getting himself arrested and then jailed. A special episode Behind the Walls was broadcasted on 11 October 2005. Veronica Donovan role is played by Robin Tunney Robin Tunney is an English Actress from North Amer >> Read More... who is their friend and helps them by investigating the conspiracy for which Lincoln was accused. The season follows with the rescue of Lincoln Burrows who is charged with murdering Terrence Steadman who is the brother of United States Caroline Reynolds Vice President who is Patricia Wettig. Lincoln is convicted to death and is imprisoned in Penitentiary of Fox River State waiting for his execution.

His brother an engineer Michael Scofield is sure of his innocence and makes an escape plan to save him. In order to do so, he first requires an entry in the prison which he does by committing an armed robbery. In prison, he pretends to be suffering from Type – 1 diabetes and thus was able to befriend the Sara Tancredi, the prison doctor and thus was able to gain daily access to jail’s infirmary as to get his insulin vaccination. The brothers get the support of Veronica Donovan who is their friend, who out of the prison tries to find out the conspiracy that made Lincoln to be imprisoned. However, the organisation namely The Company created problems in their plan and it was this group who paved the way for Lincoln to jail due to his father connections with The Company. 

The brothers allied with six of their inmates and starting calling themselves as the Fox River Eight escapes in the pre-finale episode using the tools which they got due to their industry privileges. They run away by making a tunnel underneath the prison.
