Hindi Awards International Indian Film Academy Awards 2006

International Indian Film Academy Awards 2006 saw its gala event being held in Dubai. As usual, the entire event was divided into three days, beginning with the Inaugural Press, and ending with the main event. This year, IIFA saw a huge number of audiences of about ten thousand in number, who had come from various countries. Jagmohan Mundra’s movie Provoked premiered during the IIFA World Premiering event. This year’s event won the reward for the Best International Global Event in South Asia due to the extravagant live experience it displayed. This year a new event was launched in association with the IIFA Foundation. The event is a gala fashion parade with the leading designers in the industry, and it’s called IIFA Fashion Extravaganza.
