The Producers Guild Awards have been one of the eminent and most celebrated award events since the year 2004. Formerly known as the “Apsara Film and Television Producers Guild Awards,” the Producers Guild Film Awards is a commendation given by the Apsara Producers Guild to acknowledge brilliance in Indian film and television industry. Nominations for these awards come from designated members of the guild. The winners are decided based on votes cast by all members of the Producers Guild. Rechristened as the Star Guild Awards in the year 2012-13, the Awards celebrate Indian cinema and television industry by honoring outstanding work in the field of entertainment. By collaborating with Wizcraft International Entertainment Pvt Ltd, the guild strives to present the Awards in a glamorous yet refined manner. Renault presented the Star Guild Awards for the year 2015.
