Banoo Main Teri Dulhann is a story of an illiterate girl, Vidya from a small town Banaras; she is being tortured by her Aunt, Uncle, and cousins. When Rajendra Prashad Singh chooses her for his son Sagar, on the day of wedding Vidya comes to know about the truth that Sagar is mentally ill and is like an 8-year-old boy. Sindoora creates misunderstanding between Sagar and Vidya and Sagar fears and doesn’t like Vidya.

Later Vidya wins his trust, and soon they become great friends. Later their friendship turns into love. They both can’t live without each other. On the other hand, Sindoora continues to plot against Vidya but fails. After some time, Vidya comes to know that there is a hospital where Sagar’s problem can be cured, after being Operated Sagar gets back his memory but forgets completely about Vidya and his marriage, but Vidya makes various efforts so that Sagar can remember her and she succeed finally succeeds in doing so. Sagar not only remembers Vidya but also recalls that his accident was planned by Sindoora in his childhood. When Sindoora gets to knows about this, he kills Vidya and Sagar.

The story takes a 21-year leap where Sagar and Vidya are reborn as Amar and Divya, Sindoora and her family get shocked when they meet Divya, Divya and Amar fall in love and get married, but they don’t remember their previous birth. Sindoora tries to kill Divya, and she remembers everything from the past, and she tries to tell Amar that she is their enemy but fails. Later Amar also remembers everything and in a fight sequence with them she falls into the lake. Amar and Divya lived happily since Sindoora’s death, but suddenly Sindoora comes back and harms Divya. She goes into the coma after giving birth to a girl. Later, when Divya recovers, she comes to know that, because of Sindoora, Amar is sent to the jail and is sentenced to death that Sindoora has kidnapped their child but in the end Divya saves both her husband and child.

In the end, Sindoora goes insane and is set to the prison, and Amar and Divya lived happily with Dia. The show was very popular in the beginning but later lost the audience because of a typical story.
